Alejandro's Gift

Book Review:

Alejandro's Gift is a short story about a lonely old man who lives in the desert. In the beginning of the story, the old man has nothing but his old burro and his garden to keep him company. One day he meets a little desert squirrel and no longer feels so lonely. Alejandro gives a gift to the Squirrel and his new found desert friends. Alejandro learns he can never be lonely in the desert while he has his desert animal friends.
