Big Moon Tortilla

After reading Big Moon Tortilla to Ms. Acuna's kindergarten class, we went around the room and everyone shared "If they could be any animal, what would it be and why?" The class had some interesting ideas on the special abilities that different animals have. After discussing with the whole class, everyone drew a picture to represent themselves as their animal of choice, showing the animal's special abilities.

 

One of the students, Shayla, decided that she wanted to be a dog. Her reasoning was that dogs are able to play all day in the park, and never have to sleep. Dogs have four legs instead of only two, and they can also bark really loud for everyone to hear them.
