Doesn't Fall Off His Horse

When looking for a Southwest book to read to students, I came across Doesn't Fall Off His Horse. The fifth-grade students enjoyed the story, particularly the illustrations. I decided that after reading the story, I would ask the students to draw their favorite part of the book. This student was captivated by the bight colors and scenery.

I learned not to steal, or bravery is a good thing to have. The book is a very good book. It showed a lot of caring like when the medicine women helped him. I think that Virginia A. Stroud did a good job with this book.
