About the Reviewer: Susie Straus is a senior at the University of Arizona. She was born and raised in Tucson, and decided to attend the University of Arizona to remain close to her family and friends, and most of all her horse. Susie has been a competing equestrian since the age of six and first started riding at the age of four. Now at the age of twenty-one, Susie has competed successfully at many prestigious competitions. Susie decided late in her college career to enter the College of Education. She switched her major a few times, but finally realized that she would be happiest teaching children. Susie looks forward to starting a teaching career and some day in the future hopes to own her own show stable. No matter if her teaching degree leads to a career teaching in the classroom, or teaching in the arena, Susie knows that she will tackle the future with optimism and determination. (Fall 2003)
