Cynthia M. Parkhurst is a junior at the University of Arizona College
of Education. She is currently a full time student in the bilingual
elementary education program. She strongly believes in bilingual education
and hopes to teach in both Spanish and English one day in her own
classroom. She hopes to teach either second or third grade in the
future. Cynthia has a great love for the ocean and hopes to someday
move west where she has several aunts, uncles, cousins, two nieces
and a sister. She comes from a large family with a long line of bilingual
elementary school teachers. Her greatest influence is her family.
Cynthia's strongest beliefs are to accomplish all your goals and dreams.
She is married and has no children of her own at this time. (April,
