Life in the Slow Lane: A Desert Tortoise Tale

After listening to Life in the Slow Lane: A Desert Tortoise Tale, learning and performing a rhyme about turtles, and then hearing the bonus story Jabuti: A Trickster Tale from the Amazon, the children were ready to create turtles or tortoises of their own. Here you can see them hard at work flexing their creative muscles after gaining tons of new reptilian knowledge!

This program was presented at the Pima Country Public Library's Valencia Branch family storytime by Tara Foxx-Lupo and Amy Chenail.
