About the Reviewer:
Tammy Metz serves as the librarian at Chinle High School, located on the Navajo reservation. She enjoys working with her students because they are some of the nicest students she has worked with. For this Southwest novel project, she collaborated with Joan Tippetts and her 11th-grade English students.
Tammy enjoys studying, listening to, playing, and singing folk music. In her spare time, she plays various venues around the Southwest with the folk/bluegrass band The Chainsaw Bears.
