About the Reviewer: Maritza Hernandez is an undergraduate majoring in Elementary Education at Northern Arizona University Tucson Cohort. She is married and has two gorgeous children, Julieta and Angel. She will be the first in her family to graduate with a Bachelor's degree. She is a native of Tucson, Arizona and hopes to teach in an elementary school in Tucson. She enjoys and loves working with children by helping them do extremely well in everything that their hearts' desire. She decided to pursue her career in the field of education because it is a meaningful and challenging profession. She feels that all children are capable of learning and achieving in school. Her hard work and passion for education will make her a dedicated and caring teacher. She feels that teaching is something she will take pleasure in doing. Her purpose is to teach young children how much fun it is to learn and excel in school. She plans to continue her education even after she becomes a classroom teacher. (Fall 2004)
