About the Reviewer:

Trish Gardner works as an all-day Kindergarten aide at Kyrene de los Lagos Elementary School. A former 5th and 6th grade teacher, she is enjoying some time with the youngest students at the school. Participating in their first steps toward literacy and a love of reading is a true joy. Her career goal is to work as a teacher-librarian and share that joy with children of all ages.

Mrs. Gardner is currently attending the University of Arizona, working on her MA degree in Information and Library Science. As a native Arizonan, she is especially attracted to books about the Southwest. Her children, ages 15, 12 and 8, enjoy the books that she reads for class as well.
