About the Reviewer:
Judi Moreillon serves as the teacher-librarian at Emily Gray Junior High - Tanque Verde High School in Tucson, Arizona. She co-teaches with classroom teachers to integrate the resources of the library and technology tools into the curriculum. For this Southwest novel project, Judi collaborated with 8th-grade Pre-AP Language Arts teacher Jenni Hunt and her students. Learning alongside risk-taking learners and educators is the highlight of Judi's career.
Dr. Moreillon facilitates the Southwest Literature Web site. She teaches courses in children's and young adult literature for the School of Information Resources and Library Science at the University of Arizona. Sing Down the Rain, one of her published children's books, is reviewed on this site.
