Photograph of Sue and her grandchild

About the Reviewer:

An educator for just under thirty-five years, Sue Rasmussen currently serves as the teaching librarian of Ruth Powell Elementary School where she finds great delight in connecting K-6 students and staff with great books. A graduate of the University of Arizona and lifelong learner, she has returned to her alma mater once again to pursue a Master's degree in Information Resources and Library Science.

Nearly a native, Sue and her husband Gary live in the quiet Gila Valley of southeastern Arizona. They are blessed with three grown daughters, one son-in-law, and one precocious granddaughter with whom Sue reads almost every day. She is looking forward to May 2009 when, with degree in hand, she can get back to enjoying photography, quilting, traveling and, of course, reading in her free time.
