Scorpions

After reading the book Scorpions to Mrs. Backcue's 4th grade class, I had the students write a postcard to a scorpion. The front of the postcard should have been a picture of a scorpion or their habitat. The back was a quick letter that included a fact they learned from the book reading.

 

This is a picture of a mother scorpion with babies on her back. She is orange and yellow in color and labeled as 'caution babys aboard. There are two green cacti in the background. The picture has a green border drawn on the outside of it.

 

Don't wish you were here. Please don't come visit me because you are poisonous. But you are still a good mommy and give your babies piggyback rides.
