Don't Ever Cross that Road! An Armadillo Story

Book Review:

This is an informational book about armadillos but with a twist. Written by Conrad Storad, readers are welcomed into the world of armadillos by a teacher teaching his armadillo students a lesson. Conrad Storad uses rhyme and humorous antidotes in the book to make learning about armadillos fun. The end of the book features facts about armadillos and elaborates on information that was used in the story.

Nathaniel Jensen illustrated this book masterfully. He was able to bring vibrant color into the world of the armadillos. He also used many beautiful illustrations to enhance the text of the book. There are often hidden illustrations within the illustrations; if you look closely, you may be able to find them. This book is great to read to students individually or in a group setting.
