Rattlesnake Dance

Students in Mrs. Burgess's first grade class at Continental School redrew book covers for the book Rattlesnake Dance. Our class discussion involved the environment the snakes live in, what sound a snake makes, what letter the word "snake" starts with, what you do when you see a snake, how do you know if it's a rattlesnake, the different kinds of snakes, how to spell rattlesnake, and other words that incorporate the double "t". Also, the boys had a nice chat about the Arizona baseball team, the Arizona Diamondbacks.
