About the Reviewer:

Tara Lanahan is 21 years old and a junior at the University of Arizona. Tara is from New Jersey where she plans to return to teach elementary school. She is committed to working with young children and feels that loving to read goes hand in hand with loving to learn. Tara wants her future classroom to be welcoming, creative and inspirational. Hopefully writing children's books lies in her future. Right now she is in the "Children's Literature in the Classroom" course.

Aside from being an aspiring teacher, Tara is an accomplished dancer. Having studied dance for eighteen years, she can not imagine that it won't play some role in her future. She is the youngest of four children and loves spending time with her family and close friends. Living on campus at the Alpha Phi sorority house, Tara is involved in many activities on campus as well as off. She has always made time to work in after school programs with children. Education is one of her passions because the children of today are tomorrow's future. (April, 2000)
