Just a Minute: A Trickster Tale and Counting Book

Chris Ruiz and Nicole Pasini shared Yuyi Morales' Just a Minute: A Trickster Tale and Counting Book with children at Burton Barr Central Library in Phoenix, Arizona. The theme of the bilingual story time was Celebrations!/¡Celebraciones! and, along with Just a Minute, we shared a puppet show version of La Cucaracha Martina, danced to the "Mexican Hat Dance," and created papel picados. Children who participated were ages two to about ten years old, and many were from Spanish-speaking families.
