About the Reviewers:

Nicole Pasini has always loved children's literature. Currently, she works in the Youth Services Department at Phoenix Public Library (PPL), where she's been lucky enough to share books with babies, children, teens and the adults who care for them. Her experiences at PPL lead her to pursue her Master's degree through the School of Information Resources and Library Science at the University of Arizona; she graduates in December, 2008. Before coming to libraries, Nicole worked for All-Star Kids Tutoring, a Phoenix-area nonprofit, helping volunteer tutors teach elementary-school children become readers.

I'm Chris Ruiz and live in Phoenix, AZ. I've had a lot of interesting jobs: worked in a fish factory, a graphic designer, and now work at the Phoenix Public Library in Youth Services. I've always loved children's books, especially the illustrations. I'm an illustrator wannabe! Now I get to share my appreciation of literature by using my creativity, energy and just plain fun to make youth programs a total experience. I'm a graduate student at the University of Arizona and hope to become a legitimate, 100% genuine, professional librarian. I am dedicated to serving the youth I know, and don't know, in an urban community the best way I can.
