Crystal Burnette and Carrie Kloefkorn are currently attending Northern Arizona University's teaching program in Tucson. They are striving to receive their Bachelor's degrees in elementary education. Not only are they practicum partners working together in a fourth-grade classroom, they are friends encouraging the success of one another in becoming life-changing teachers.

Crystal is an Arizona native and has lived in Tucson for thirteen years. She has had the dream of becoming a teacher since she was five years old. With the support and guidance of her parents, Ricky and Pamela, her lifelong goal is soon to be reached. Crystal hopes to teach the fourth grade. She desires to make an impact on her future students' lives and watch them grow and mature into flourishing young adults. Crystal plans to continue her education though NAU and receive a Master's degree in counseling.

Born in Prescott and raised in both Prescott and Tucson, Carrie is an Arizona native. Carrie has always known her passion and life-long dedication is making a positive impact on the lives of children. Carrie aims to teach first, second, or possibly third grade after graduating. She is eager to play a part in teaching kids to read and hopes to spread the love of reading, learning, and making a difference.
