Pablo Remembers the Fiesta of the Day of the Dead

After I read the book to the class, the children cut out pre-traced and folded colored tissue paper designs in order to make papel picado. The children created their own altar using papel picado and artifacts related to El día de los muertos. The children were truly energized about learning the customs of El día de los muertos.
