I Howl, I Growl

After hearing the book and studying some animal pictures, this kindergarten class created animal headbands depicting each of the animals illustrated in the book. The book was then reread and the children acted out the animal they had drawn.

 

The whole class is wearing the animal headbands they created.	The first seven animals in the book are represented on these childrens' headbands.
This is a smaller group shot standing in front of the concept attainment chart used in the lesson.	This photo shows the children modeling their hardwork.
